His work on breath control has helped many people. I believe we need to move away from relying on medications; toxins are not the solution to every problem.

Shouldn’t you know that? The LAST thing anyone with a damaged vagus nerve needs is more medication or a surgical intervention.

I was paralyzed for 5-6 days and they removed 7 vertebrae from C-5 to T-4
I have a neurogenic bladder and bowels and now Atrial Tachycardia….. I cannot find a doctor that supports that my vagus nerve was damaged…. I have not slept well since the accident in 2021….
I’m very sensitive to medication and refuse to take it! I also have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome….
My big question is, is there help for me?
Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Nancy

Clipped off at the level of upper stomach which had 1/4 (top removed). That was 12 years ago. How much develops per month? Can it send messages to the brain though still severed??

Surgeon told my stomach and bowel difficulties immediately after ceasing intravenous and re-starting to eat food (causing a Bezoar) were caused by my SEVERED L VAGAL NERVE. Is it possible for the nerve to regenerate in full and if so how fast is the procedure – Is it inches per year?? I had a heart attack at age 90 and in the ER was told: ‘The scanner shows you are having a heart attack.. BUT YOU DON’T HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS. (I had been seriously tired off and on for some weeks…and that night went to bed at 6:30 p.m. and woke with projectile vomiting and thin, black diarreah. I had to wait until the bloodwork showing the heart attack before being ambulanced to another hospital 45 minutes away. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE I hope to share with the ER ‘the NEXT TIME!!
Thanks for your information.
Age 91 now.

Full of food, twisting remaining in place to become infected, experienced renal failure. 6 days later surgeon spent 6 hours, removed 1/4 of stomach, ‘cleaned up’ the esophagus/area (necrotic). 5 drainages and antibiotics for 4 weeks.Developed gastritis.Upon commencing to eat again I developed a BEZOAR due to inability to digest meals (removal successful!) After more than a year things were manageable. Surgeon related that my L Vagus nerve had been severed and would NOT be able to self-renew’For the last 2 years, I experienced*when walking fast in sand for 1 hour my body ‘saying STOP’/ 2 mos later in airport running to catch a plane the same scene! 3/2024 I had a heart attack. My symptoms were OFF and ON for months/periodic sessions of extreme tiredness During that evening I woke with projectile vomiting (undigested lunch) and diarreah, calling for help. (I thought it was a stomach bug!!).I was told at the ER that the screen showed me having a heart attack, ‘BUT you don’t have any symptoms.” (normal, expected symptoms, PAIN in chest?).Had to wait for bloodwork confirmation before I was approved to be driven 40 minutes away to the hospital where I received a STENT. NO PAIN!. I am seeking confirmation re: the belief that my damaged L Vagus nerve has and will continue to ONLY PROVIDE ‘these minimal ‘warnings’ in order to have it acknowledged as an ACTUAL HEART ATTACK…when and if it happens again! What test can provide verification OR strong belief that this is the case?
